Package: abcde Version: 2.3.99.5-1 Severity: normal
I have this problem on a network file system which uses ACLs: Grabbing entire CD - tracks: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 abcde: attempting to resume from /afs/icequake.net/pub/music/rock/va/abcde.ee12850f. abcde: directory /afs/icequake.net/pub/music/rock/va/abcde.ee12850f already exists and is not owned by you. Please investigate, remove it, and rerun abcde. There is no reason the directory should have to be owned by the user running abcde. The operating system should be responsible for checking file security in this case, not the application. abcde should simply attempt to touch a file in that directory to check if it is writable by the current user. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.11 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages abcde depends on: ii cd-disci 0.9-1 CDDB DiscID utility ii cdda2wav 4:2.01+01a03-5 Creates WAV files from audio CDs ii cdparano 3a9.8-13 An audio extraction tool for sampl ii flac 1.1.2-3.1 Free Lossless Audio Codec - comman ii lame 3:3.96.99+3.97beta2-0rarewares1 LAME Ain't an MP3 Encoder ii vorbis-t 1.1.1-5 several Ogg Vorbis tools ii wget 1.10.2-1 retrieves files from the web abcde recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
