Package: abcde
Version: 2.3.99.5-1
Severity: normal

I have this problem on a network file system which uses ACLs:

Grabbing entire CD - tracks: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
abcde: attempting to resume from
/afs/icequake.net/pub/music/rock/va/abcde.ee12850f.
abcde: directory /afs/icequake.net/pub/music/rock/va/abcde.ee12850f
already exists and is not owned by you.
Please investigate, remove it, and rerun abcde.

There is no reason the directory should have to be owned by the user
running abcde. The operating system should be responsible for checking
file security in this case, not the application. abcde should simply
attempt to touch a file in that directory to check if it is writable by
the current user.
