Although Filelight had the option "Scan across fliesystem boundaries"
unchecked, it scanned also sshfs mounted a filesystem in my home
directory.

$ mount | grep sshfs
sshfs#ritter:/ on /home/eddy/mnt/ritter type fuse 
(rw,nosuid,nodev,max_read=65536,user=eddy)
