Package: cupsys
Version: 1.2.0

We're getting a bunch of complaints, mainly from Ubuntu users, that
the CUPS web interface is crippled by default - you can't add
printers, etc. without adding users to the shadow and lpadmin group.

CUPS includes customizable web interface content, and we highly
recommend that ALL Linux distributions at least update the
"Standard Configuration" help file (doc/help/standard.html.in) to
provide the details of your customizations. You can also update
the standard help page templates (templates/help-header.tmpl and
templates/(locale)/help-header.tmpl) and/or the home page files
(doc/index.html.in and doc/(locale)/index.html.in), or even add
Debian-specific help file(s) in the /usr/share/doc/cups/help
directory.

In short, please put the instructions for enabling all of the CUPS
web interface in a more visible place. It will save all of us a lot
of wasted time!

Thanks!
