Hello. According to my build logs, libnet-server-mail-perl (the affected package against which I initially reported this) seems to be buildable without errors (not even random) at least since buster.
In normal circumstances I would just go ahead and close the bug, but due to the multiple reassigns I'm not confident enough, so I leave it to you. Thanks.
