Ahhh -- perfect, and sorry about possibly having created that confusion from
the r-base side.

There ~is~ was still something [else] wrong because a package ~has~ had a
hickup with Boost on one arch which then bubbles up to a current autoremmove
for six or seven packages of mine. [Just checked: Looks like that is taken
care of too so all good!
