Package: gnome-terminal Version: 2.14.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #368579 It could have been an ncurses bug, as today I upgraded my machine (I do this on a daily basis) and it pulled a few ncurses packages from "testing", some of which are ncurses-related. After this, gnome-terminal no longer experiences the behavior I described.
