Package: symlinks Version: 1.2-4.2 Build a linux kernel using a separate build directory, cd to include2 in the build directory, and do
$ symlinks -cs . absolute: /home/peterc/kernels/build/i386/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include2/asm -> /home/peterc/kernels/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include/asm-i386 changed: /home/peterc/kernels/build/i386/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include2/asm -> ../../../../../../../home/peterc/kernels/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/ Then do it again: $ symlinks -cs . lengthy: /home/peterc/kernels/build/i386/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include2/asm -> ../../../../../../../home/peterc/kernels/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include/asm-i386 changed: /home/peterc/kernels/build/i386/linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include2/asm -> ../../../../linux-2.6-usrdrivers/include/asm-i386 Why should I have to do this twice? (This bug is related to #153496 except there the -s is not specified. If I specifically ask for shortened links, I should get them.) -- Dr Peter Chubb http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au peterc AT gelato.unsw.edu.au http://www.ertos.nicta.com.au ERTOS within National ICT Australia -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
