No. At least it does not show up with ps -aux. If I try to start the daemon by hand, it segfaults right away: $ /usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/gnome-vfs-daemon Segmentation fault > Does the problem happen with another user account? Yes. I tried to log in with a different account that was created for testing purposes only and got the same results.
