Package: zram-tools Version: 0.3.3.1-1.1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: quasar.pan...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? It started after I installed the zramtools package. I get two errors one is related to not being able to reserve MMIO and the other relates to zram swap service not starting. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I googled the problem, found some blogs that showed me how to configure zramswap but that made the situation worse. * What was the outcome of this action? The situation became worse with too many errors coming up as regards zramswap. * What outcome did you expect instead? I expect the syatem to boot cleanly without any errors. Although zramswap apparently works when I see the system monitor. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-11-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_IN:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages zram-tools depends on: ii bc 1.07.1-3+b1 zram-tools recommends no packages. zram-tools suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/zramswap changed: ALGO=lz4 PERCENT=50 -- no debconf information
