Source: meson Version: 1.2.1-3 #1010445 shows that the mono ecosystem in its current state in Debian does not deserve to be released. meson makes mono a key package via its build dependencies mono-mcs and mono-devel, which hinders mono's autoremoval. I do not think that any mono package actually uses meson so please consider dropping these build dependencies. meson builds without them.
