Package: cowbuilder Version: 0.89 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: mar...@lichtvoll.de
Dear Maintainers, Thanks for your cowbuilder package. With umask 027 in Devuan daedules/ceres on trying to build package "runit-services" with git-buildpackage I got: I: Extracting source /sbin/start-stop-daemon: unable to start /bin/sh (Permission denied) E: pbuilder: Failed extracting the source I: unmounting dev/ptmx filesystem After removing "/var/cache/pbuilder/base.cow", changing umask manually to 022 and running "cowbuilder create" again, building the package works as expected. Reporting for Debian, as I assume that the issue would also happen on Debian. If not, feel free to close and I report with Devuan bug tracker.
