Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Upgraded the system from Bullseye to Bookworm.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Looked for the U-PR font under
/usr/share/groff/1.22.4/font/devpdf and it is no longer there.
* What was the outcome of this action?
I get the following error processing my document:
troff: <standard input>:33: warning: can't find font 'U-PR'
In my document line 33 is:
.fam U-P
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Not to be surprised by the removal of these fonts that are in
1.22.4-6 in Bullseye and in 1.23.0-2 in Trixie.
I see no mention of intentionally removing these fonts (perhaps
more?) in the Debian ChangeLog file.
I hope these fonts can be restored to Stable without resorting to
manually installing them from an older or newer package.
