Apache can segfault for any number of wonderful reasons. One person reporting segfaults does not mean it's "the same problem you're having". The only way I can reliably debug this is with a gdb backtrace of the offending process. I can't magically determine why it crashed just from reading logfiles that say "apache crashed". ...
