Package: etckeeper Version: 1.18.20-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
since very recently, etckeeper started to become rather verbose, and I now get a daily email from the cronjob: /etc/cron.daily/etckeeper: Auto packing the repository in background for optimum performance. See "git help gc" for manual housekeeping. Since this does not indicate any kind of error, it would be better not to bother the admin with such emails.
