Aborted Removing cache files in /var/cache/nscd solves the issue. I think the program is quite weak in respect with cache checking before their use. That could explain randomly faults reported from time to time... Any reason to not remove the cache files at startup for safety? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages nscd depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries nscd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
