Package: mysql5-server
Version: 5.0-5.0.21-3
Severity: important
Justification: fails to build from source

I read the SSL howto and activated the openssl with

./configure [lots of options] --with-openssl

g++ -DDBUG_OFF -DBIG_JOINS=1 -felide-constructors -fno-rtti -O2
-fno-implicit-templates -fno-exceptions -fno-rtti -rdynamic -o
.libs/mysql_client_test mysql_client_test.o  ../libmysql/.libs/libmysqlclient.so
-L/usr/lib -lmysys -L/tmp/mysql-dfsg-5.0-5.0.21/mysys -lcrypt -lnsl -lm -lssl
-lcrypto -lz -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/lib/mysql
mysql_client_test.o: In function `test_bug17667':
mysql_client_test.c:(.text+0x3851d): undefined reference to `my_memmem'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [mysql_client_test] Error 1

make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2

Looks very similar to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=366534
