Hi,
I encountered the same problem as Matt:
Since a few weeks exactly one user is not able to store mails within
his 'Sent' folder on the mail server.
There are some noteworthy aspects:
- The bug affects replies and mails with attachement, but not
non-reply mails without attachements
- This behaviour is deterministic
- The bug occurs for all mailboxes which are accessed by this user
- The bug occurs only on one computer! If the user accesses his
mailboxes from another computer, the bug is not present
- The user uses Firefox (sorry, don't know the exact version)
- The bug occurs also on Outlook and Outlook Express
- two different errors are logged:
IOERROR: locking index for user.joe.Sent: Interrupted system call
IOERROR: reading message: unexpected end of file
Can anybody tell me if the proposed fix does work?
