Package: dh-python Version: 5.20230603 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: mo...@debian.org
Hello, pybuild-plugin-pyproject already copies the directory `tests` or `test`; probably it should also copy by default the file `pytest.ini` if present. This would both require to change the code and the manpage (https://manpages.debian.org/unstable/dh-python/pybuild-autopkgtest.1.en.html).
