There is a patch from openSUSE [1] that fixes build on riscv64. Tested on my
QEMU riscv64 sbuild and it works fine. Can you please apply this to Debian
package as well?

I am updating kexec-tools package to 2.0.25. I am going to hold off on
pulling riscv64 support in. That is a fairly substantial patch. I would like
to give it some soak time in upstream before pulling it into debian package.

It's been a while since this - did it soak well in upstream so far?

Chris

Hi Chris,

That patch from Nick did not go into Simon's upstream kexec-tools tree. There were some failures with the original patch sent on Oct 5, 2021. Ver 2.0.26 of kexec-tools from Simon does not include risc-v support yet. I will consider this patch after it is pulled into upstream tree.

Thanks,
Khalid
