Hello Paul,

Upgrading *thunderbird* from 1:102.13.1-1 to 115.1.0-1 the messages
below are printed to the terminal:
[GFX1-]: FireTestProcess failed: Abspalten des Kindprozesses
»/usr/lib/thunderbird/glxtest« gescheitert (Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht
gefunden)
[GFX1-]: glxtest: ManageChildProcess failed
[GFX1-]: No GPUs detected via PCI
Copying the executable from *firefox* fixes the issue.
sudo cp -a /usr/lib/firefox/glxtest /usr/lib/thunderbird/glxtest
So far I do see your report this "hides" more or less the error message
you've seen before. I can reproduce this on my big workstation too but I
do not encounter any other problems like glitches in the UI.
After that, the message below is shown:
[GFX1-]: FireTestProcess failed: Abspalten des Kindprozesses
»/usr/lib/thunderbird/vaapitest« gescheitert (Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht
gefunden)
Well, these to binaries are used to detect if you have a graphic card
which is able to support VA-API. Currently for whatever reason the two
binaries are not build by the build process of Thunderbird for whatever
reason. Might be an upstream issue, or might be a build configure issue.
VA-API is a useful thing for Firefox and Chromiun, but not really needed
for running Thunderbird which is a MUA.
BTW: Please enforce to use the system locale so all messages are in
English then if you want to report issues. For example use at least
$ LANG= thunderbird
