Package: mount
Version: 2.39.1-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

as the subject says, mount 2.39 fails to mount overlayfs. Apparently it deems
the "lowerdir" mount option invalid, no matter whether there is one, two or
several lower dirs. If there's an overlayfs in /etc/fstab, the system even
fails to boot into multi-user, and enters recovery instead.

Downgrading all util-linux, mount and libmount1 to version 2.38.1-6 (from
testing) fixes it for now.
