Yes, I changed the configuration, because the chroot is used as an image for 
different computers and on real computers the server should be started. My 
problem is, that unlike other packages like udev, the smartmontools package 
does not check, if it is updated in a chroot or not. Using the default 
configuration is not an option for me, since I want to use the server. And 
for the past year any update worked without a problem.
