Dear Maintainer, This bug can be closed as it no longer occurs, at least as of version 1:2.11-6 which I just tested. In the following, "^I" represents where I hit the Tab key and the line after "->" shows the output after hitting Tab. $ dir $HOME/^I -> dir $HOME/ $ dir $HOME/^I^I ...
