Package: base-files Version: 12.4 Followup-For: Bug #1039973 a similar bug existed for /usr/local/share/texmf #962419
where it had 'staff' as group ownership, despite /etc/staff-group-for-usr-local not existing. The same bug exists for /usr/local/share/fonts #962420 My interpretation of debian policy is that no directories should be owned by the group 'staff' unless /etc/staff-group-for-usr-local or similar file exists.
