Package: quilt
Version: 0.44-6
Severity: normal

I tried to edit a file with a space in the name, but it didn't work.
Looks like quilt has some quoting issues in some parts of the code.

<in an existing quiltified package>
$ quilt new foobar.patch
Patch foobar.patch is now on top
$ quilt edit 'foo bar.txt'
<nano launched, empty file saved>
File foo added to patch foobar.patch
File bar.txt added to patch foobar.patch
$ ls -l | egrep '(foo|bar)'
-rw-r--r--  1 pabs pabs    0 2006-05-20 14:19 foo bar.txt
