We will most likely provide backports of v253 and later via bookworm-backports (this doesn't affect the install media though).

If you want to see this fixed directly in unstable, i.e. for v252, I would first ask in the upstream issue, that https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/25948 is also backported to v252-stable.

Once that happens, we can consider cherry-picking it in Debian.
