Package: tmux Version: 3.3a-3 Severity: important Forwarded: https://github.com/tmux/tmux/issues/3531
People have reported server crashes with recent ncurses when copying text with the mouse, see the upstream bug report above and https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78584. To reproduce that, install libtinfo6 from experimental, put a line with "set -g mouse on" in tmux.conf, start a tmux session, put some text on the screen (e.g. "cat /etc/passwd"), and mark that with the mouse. For me, tmux crashes reproducibly as soon as the mouse is released. The Arch Linux maintainer seems to have backported the upstream fixes, see https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/tmux. I'll have at look at these in the next few days if nobody beats me to it. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Versions of packages tmux depends on: ii libc6 2.36-9 ii libevent-core-2.1-7 2.1.12-stable-8 ii libtinfo6 6.4+20230603-1 ii libutempter0 1.2.1-3 tmux recommends no packages. tmux suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
