Package: xfwm4 Version: 4.16.1-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream The width of the Working Area list displayed middle-clicking on desktop is severely limited for no reason, preventing enough of the window titles to be seen when they are long enough, which has a very major effect on the usability of the feature.
This is a bit variable, since this list is displayed with a variable width font, but it more or less displays only 22 characters from the title. This is clipping 5 out of 10 windows on my desktop at this time. It makes no sense to place a width limit on this list, since the space needed is variable, can be actually a lot, and it's not known in advance how much is needed. If anything only preventing the window from being larger than the screen is necessary.
