If the eject package isn't installed, when you try to eject a USB device (I didn't test anything else), then Nautilus is unable to eject the device and throws up an error like: Error ejecting /dev/sda: Error spawning command-line `eject '/dev/sda'': Failed to execute chidl process "eject" (No such file or directory) (g-exec-error-quark, 8). I reckon that the natilus package should depend on the eject package.
