Package: po-debconf Severity: normal hi,
i've been working on a QA upload lately. Lintian keeps on complainig about wrong template files (If the short description does not end with a colon), so i wanted to get rid of the Lintian warnings. Well, lets note thats more or less the first time im updating a original templates file, so if im doing something wrong please enlighten me.. Heres what i did: 1) Changing the Description field of the original debian/templates file the following way: [..] Type: string -_Description: Which serial device is the X-10 CP-290 controller connected to? +_Description: Serial device: + Which serial device is the X-10 CP-290 controller connected to? + . At least, po2debconf should print some kind of note why it happily ignores the other pofiles. I then tried to set a msgstr for the new msgid like that: [..] #.
