Hello Michael,

as I already wrote in my last message I have found an option to
disable the logout button (-logoutButton -1), although this
possibility is NOT documented in the manpage. Perhaps the title
of this bug report should be changed.

Visual behaviour: xlock -mode blank

white screen with black letters, NO public logout button

Version: 1:5.21-3
black screen with white letters, WITH public logout button

An additional file in the package, that's not nothing for me ;-).
And this file contains a lot of ressource settings, which are even
contrary to the settings in /etc/X11/Xresources/xlockmore. But I
already wrote this in detail in my last message. Didn't you get it?

Yes, but the default configuration has changed with the last package.
And it has changed in an essential way with enabling the public logout
button. IMHO this should have been announced with a news message.
But as you did not even realize the change ... :-)

I've just tried both xlockmore packages with the current X version in
etch (6.9.0.dfsg.1-6). But the point is not the X version, the point is
that the xlockmore package itself HAS changed between the versions
1:5.21-1 and 1:5.21-3.
