Package: libasound2 Version: 1.0.11-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch This report is for libasound2 1.0.11-3 wich can be found in etch/sid This is NOT a bug in my own system (sarge AMD64).
This particular libasound version doesn't work well with the VoIP software Ekiga when configured to use the DMIX plugin in ALSA, rendering the sound bad and tends to crash it. This bug has been fixed in ALSA CVS. Ekiga isn't probably the only software wich has problem with this bug, but it the only one I'm aware of.
