Hi Werner, Thanks for debugging into this. I've did a local testbuild, unfortunatly commenting out this line
QGuiApplication::setHighDpiScaleFactorRoundingPolicy(Qt::HighDpiScaleFactorRoundingPolicy::PassThrough); as you have suggested, does not bring the effect for me. It is still garbled when running it with QT_SCALE_FACTOR=0.9 The hint that QT6 seems to do better is appreciated, but that's nothing we can change before bookworm has been released (and also depends on the QT6 status in Debian, which I just don't know about) Cheers, tobi (I've unmerged the other bug, as it seems that those bugs are actually different issues, and I was wrong when I have assessed it at that time.) -- tobi
