Hi,
I was able to reproduce the problem on my setup. While I search for a
fix you may use another
workaround. The option ``program "GNUTAR"`` is broken but ``program
"APPLICATION" application "amgtar"``
works and you have more control still using tar.
Use man amgtar for more information.
