Following up: - There is a new upstream version. Any reason not to update to this one? - d/copyright: The license text for GPL-3.0 quotes "or later", so the identifier should be GPL-3.0+ Likely upstream code is "GPL3.0" without the or later… (as upstream has no license boilerplate, maybe that should be reconfirmed. - d/rules the dh_link override seems strange to me (dh_link is for symbolic links; it seems more that you want to tweak the installation step?) PS: After writing above I've seen on salsa a commit with the message "corrected proposed by the sponsor."
