Package: lintian Version: 2.116.3 Severity: normal In the recently introduced libcufile0 package
Package: libcufile0 Section: non-free/libs Source: nvidia-cuda-toolkit (11.7.1-3) Version: 1.3.1.18~11.7.1-3 I unfortunately set the versions in the symbols file to "11.7.1" (based on the source version) instead of "1.3" (based on the binary package version). This of course resulted in unsatisfiable dependencies libcufile0 (>= 11.7.1) ... It would be nice if lintian would warn about such a version skew that would likely result in broken dependencies.
