Today, for the first time in years, watchdog was able to send an e-mail before resetting the system - I guess usually this is triggered that fast the message doesn't get through. But that message wasn't really helpful: | Message from watchdog: | The system will be rebooted because of error 253! A glance into the manpage (I was faster checking the sources, though) is needed to resolve that into a textual description. However, there's already a function "wd_strerror" that does this job. So that one could be used in "send_email" to provide more helpful messages. Or did I miss a reason to not do this? Christoph
