Hi Mike, Here's what I did: sudo apt install libvncserver1=0.9.13+dfsg-2+deb11u1 sudo apt-get build-dep x11vnc apt-cache policy libvncserver-dev # check installed version is 0.9.13+dfsg-2+deb11u1 apt-get source x11vnc cd x11vnc-0.9.16/ dpkg-buildpackage # this failed to sign the package sudo dpkg -i ../x11vnc_0.9.16-7_amd64.deb pkill x11vnc x11vnc
and it all seems fine. Please let me know if I haven't done the steps you expected. I do use bullseye (with pinning for other versions at a lower priority). It seems that a new libvncserver patch in debian/patches/0003-rfb-increase-update-buf-size.patch create an ABI incompatibility between x11vnc and libvncserver. Could you try this: rebuild x11vnc 0.9.16-7 (as found in Debian bullseye, if it's bullseye that you use) from source with the latest libvncserver version (library + dev:pkg) installed? With the rebuilt x11vnc, does the error persist? Or is it gone, then?
