Yes, I tested a few days ago, and the patch fixes the link error, and mariadb builds but ultimately failed in the test suite with: Too many failed: Failed 19/386 tests, 95.08% were successful. My recollection is that when I first reported this at version 10.6.7-3 only a couple of the tests failed, and were easily worked around, so it would seem something further has gone wrong in the meantime. But it might have been a problem in the host system which had a full system disk at the time, so I will rerun the test build as it could be quite some time before the Alpha buildds pick up mariadb for building again due to the backlog. Cheers Michael.
