The kernel support for this package is already enabled . I am a part of ZonedStorage team, I do have an interest in building / maintaining this package. Other members of our team maintain this package for OpenSuse and Fedora. Debian would be in my area of responsibility It would be a nice this package available for those users who prefer Debian as their platform.
