When I try to replace the documentclass book with scrbook, I get the message /usr/share/texmf/tex/plain/misc/noweb.sty:15 contains an undefined control sequence. At upstream there is an additional line, so there it is line 16. I also filled a patch. You can find a patch under https://github.com/nrnrnr/noweb/pull/28/files @Hubert If it is ok for you, I can prepare the patch also at salsa.debian.org. For me it is very important to have this fix in Debian.
