The lintian override was made for the upstream source code, containing
the wrong wording. The issue was forwarded upstream and addressed there
[1]. The next minor upstream release will have the fix.

The NIV has to be represented in d/copyright regardless of having the "right"
wording or not.
You currently do not mention it at all. GFDL-1.3+ (no NIV) is considered
non-free, so please fix this.
I do not mind the lintian override then.
