Hi everybody,

What the status of this bug?

It is quite critical as it also impacts an other package (verilator).

I see that there is a new upstream release of the systemc library (2.3.4 released on the 2022-12-01) available here:

https://www.accellera.org/downloads/standards/systemc

There is also a official dev repo here:

https://github.com/accellera-official/systemc

Maybe those can help with g++ version compatibility.

Also, regarding the symbol list, it seems that it is just a matter of updating the symbol file as it is usually done when there is a change in g++ version.

It would be nice to have this package (and thus verilator) back in next-stable before the freeze.
