Package: enlightenment Version: 1:0.16.7.2-3 Severity: normal
On my system, the Debian/apps/graphics menu has 27 entries. When Enlightenment tries to display it, the lower end falls off the screen. It tries again with the bottom just on the screen, but that puts the parent item "graphics" off the screen. The cursor cannot be warped off the screen, so it now falls on a different item (Debian/apps/viewers). Seeing this, Enlightenment drops the "graphics" menu and displays the "viewers" menu instead. Nothing on the "graphics" menu can be selected. I have a 1280x1024 display. I guess this bug would be easier to trigger with a smaller display. Preferably, the menu display function should allow for arbitrarily many items, e.g. by adding a scroll bar. Failing that, the menu construction tool should split large menus into manageable parts. (I'm going to attempt this manually.) At least, the menu display function should have a fallback mode that omits the icons. - Jim Van Zandt -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages enlightenment depends on: ii enlightenment-data 1:0.16.7.2-3 Enlightenment Window Manager Run T ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libesd0 0.2.36-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libimlib2 1.2.1-2 powerful image loading and renderi ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System Session Management ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxinerama1 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System multi-head display ii libxxf86vm1 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Video Mode selection library Versions of packages enlightenment recommends: ii esound 0.2.36-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Support ii menu 2.1.27 generates programs menu for all me -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
