Because of a defective wall plug, the device was unused for some years, but 
recently got a working one from a friend. Charged it and it just worked :-D

I found that link too ... and then some :-O
Amongst other things, it looks like the device is supported in the upstream 
Linux kernel \o/
And only a few days ago, people were actively working on improving things for 
the TF101!

I got quite a few things to learn, so it may take a while.
But what I found these last few days has got me super-charged :-)
So I'm going to try to help out too and will let you know when there are some 
results which are also usable for Debian.
