Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I looked at the output of sg_map --help * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I did not do naything * What was the outcome of this action? sg_map outputs amongst other things... ...If no '-s*' arguments given then show all mappings. This utility is DEPRECATED, do not use in Linux 2.6 series or later.... and warns that it should NOT be used on kernels later than 2.6 which means anything after about 2011 or so. This is a while and as far as I know Debian does not supports 2.6 kernels anymore. E.g. should this be removed? * What outcome did you expect instead? I did not expect a old warning from the 2.6 days.. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages sg3-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.36-6 ii libsgutils2-2 1.46-1 sg3-utils recommends no packages. sg3-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
