Package: libvpl-dev Version: 2022.2.4-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, If I install libvp-dev and rebuild handbrake with --enable-qsv the build fails. I have to also install libvp2 by hand (and will have to add both to the build-depends to submit a patch if so).
All other -dev packages in Debian that I lloked at depends on their library pacakge but not yours. From a google search, I have not found the Debian policy requirement for that though. Note that other pacakges depends on hte exact same versoin of the libaray and dev package. Probably vi a dh helper. The expected outcome is that with adding libvpx-dev to the build depends of handbrake would be enough for it to build and run against libvp2 too without having to hardcode this dependency.
