Package: gnome-music Version: 42.1-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: none, Barak A. Pearlmutter <b...@debian.org>
The package description reads, in part: > Objectives includes ... a player for DLNA media servers ... "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." Right now there is no DLNA support in Gnome-Music. I think this should be made clear in the package description, because if someone wants a music player with DLNA support, they need to find something else. As currently written, it's not unreasonable to expect DLNA support, and to spend some time bashing around on the program trying to find it. Developers have lists of features they'd like to see implemented someday, but users mainly care about what capabilities actually exist.
