The world isn't as boolean as it looks. In unstable, libcrypt-dev will remain part of build-essential for some time still, but the pkgconf transition requires to complete this transition in rebootstrap sooner rather than later. However, in rebootstrap, such a missing dependency is relatively easy to work around and given that I have a bug number now, I know when to drop the workaround. So from your point of view, it is not urgent. Just fix it eventually in the right way. There is also pam and cyrus-sasl2 and probably more. Helmut
