Apparently there's such a version in upstream git, but not yet tagged. I think, let's wait a bit to see whether the version is not yet finalized or it's a case of a missing tag. And, to reduce required effort from my side, I'm assuming the crash that happens for you but not me is fixed in 1.10, thus sparing me efforts to reproduce it :) On the other hand, the unread mails count is broken since the last Thunderbird update, and that's the main point of birdtray for me.
